Welcome
Haoran Tang is a first-year PhD student at Purdue University, advised by Prof. Rajiv Khanna. He received his MSE in Robotics from University of Pennsylvania, and he obtained his BS in Computer Engineering at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Haoran was born and raised in Chongqing, China, a metropolis built on mountains and rivers.
Research Interests
Haoran is interested in learning with limited/no supervision and methods to edit/transfer knowledge, focusing on faithfulness and explainability of the learning scheme. His current research topics include machine unlearning, generative modeling, and self-supervised learning.
